Mail Manager
The Mail Manager is used to email recipient's their 1099 copies. Before accessing the mail manager you need to generate separate PDF copies of recipient 1099s. On the screen where you laser print your 1099s there is a checkbox available for that. It is located at the bottom of "special formats to print". Simply check that box and print your 1099s. You will be instructed that this is a special feature and that you need to select the PDF button instead of the Printer button.
The program will then create a separate PDF copy for each recipient and place it in a subfolder called PDFOutbox. There is a link available to view the contents of that folder using Windows File Explorer.
